I closed the inlet because the winter draft bothered me.
冬の冷気が気になって、給気口を閉じてしまったの。
I understand, but that stopped the route before the air reached us.
わかるよ。でも、それで空気が届く前に経路を止めてしまったんだね。
The tall bookcase now stands away from the inlet, so the inlet is clear again.
背の高い本棚はいま給気口から離れているから、給気口はまた塞がれていないよ。
And I opened the small air passage above the bedroom door again.

The manual says the normal setting should stay on day and night.
